Cryotherapy is currently one of the “hottest” wellness trends out there right now – but what does it actually do, and does it truly measure up to the hype? I’m so excited to share my experience at The CryoBar in Chicago!
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the process, Cryotherapy is a treatment where you step into a small booth called a “Cryosauna” and are exposed to extreme cold temperatures that are cooled down to -230 degrees Fahrenheit (Yes, you read that right. Negative two hundred and thirty degrees!) for 2 to 3 minutes. It is recommended that you get the treatment a few times a week minimum to receive the full benefits of the treatment.
